Platehopper was the beginning of our journey.
We came up with a unique concept where people could curate lunches, dinners, tea parties, etc. in their homes, and guests could make reservations in advance on our platform www.platehopper.com. But fortunately or unfortunately, as with every journey, we had to move on. We decided to evolve from virtual to something more physical. A restaurant!
It's not just any Restaurant. It's a community. Take the stage, pick up the mic and sing, play the house guitar, read a book in the quiet garden, sip on a cup of hot filter coffee as you doodle away, or just simply watch the leaves sway. It's a space to slow down. Situated by a lake frequented by migratory birds, the Lakehouse is a space where, like the birds, you are welcome to come by and take respite from the bustle of the city. Everyone's welcome, and that includes pets.
Sangeetha is a brilliant teacher, artist and mother amongst other things. She is also a co-founder of The Looroo Club.
